Spokane County Developing Young Adult People First Chapter Project

What is the mission of this project?
The mission of this project is to teach young adults with different abilities to advocate for themselves.

What do we hope to accomplish with this project?
We hope to have this chapter be a meeting place for young adults with different abilities to have fun and hang out together and learn about self advocacy.

What will we do with this project/new chapter?
What we do with this new chapter is all up to the new members.

What other chapters have done is this….
1. Have Guest Speakers on topics important to their members.
2. Talk about Self Advocacy and how to speak up and out for what we want and need.
3. Elect Officers to lead the chapter. 4. Have Fund Raisers.
5. Do fun Stuff with funds we raise. Ex movies, games, Barbeques

Our First Meeting- may 16th Manito Park BBQ from 5-7
